Teaching

A few significant strengths of any working professional are problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, communication, and delegation. Being a Positive Psychologist, I strongly believe in the role of one’s strength in becoming a flourishing being. Self-aware individuals who know one’s potential can not only stay happy and acquire achievements but also contribute to the nation and society positively and significantly.

Therefore the courses in my teaching portfolio include Positive Psychology; Becoming a social being and connected mind; Science of Happiness; Managerial Skills, Leadership, Creative Problem Solving, and Decision Making. Alongside, I offer more specialized courses, e.g., Qualitative and Quantitative Methodologies, Research Methodology, Statistical Analysis for Social Sciences, and Intervention Techniques and Method, to enhance learners’ research skills. Of course, I teach usual curriculum Psychology courses; I have developed courses on Community Mental Health, Psychometric Assessment, Theories of Intelligence, etc.

The pedagogy for strength and skill-building requires experiential learning with different modalities; therefore, I have experimented with case studies, movie analysis, management games, and advertisement analysis in combination with traditional teaching pedagogy.
